Over 3.5K raised for MNDA

Supporting a local resident living with MND

Most of you who know us well, will already know what our strap line 'Community Spirit' really means... as well as it being about developing our gin range with our local Ginfluencers, we're also very much about supporting our local community. Whether it is through attending fundraising events, donating raffle prizes or promoting local businesses - ultimately our aim is to work together to support each other and grow our local community.

We had met local Godalming resident, Paul Jameson, when running our bar at a fundraising event in Witley in September 2021 - Rejoice the Voice. The community had come together to host an amazing music festival with lots of professional and amateur bands and singers. All in aid of raising money for MND and to help Paul tick off one of his bucket list items to host a music festival.

Later that year, Paul and a group of friends came to the distillery for a gin experience for a friends birthday and after conversations with Ian about how we produce bespoke branded gin, Paul came up with an idea! The government announced that £50 million was going to go into funding for MND research so to celebrate, 50 Million Gin was created! To help with the fundraising effort, Ian offered to donate £8 per bottle to MNDA.

The gin was launched in April 2022 and the 50 Million Gin team worked hard to get the word out to their network. A hugely successful launch party was held in Brook, Surrey which hosted David Kirby's amazing jazz band and local talents. Even we got to drink and dance! Since the launch we have raised over 3.5K thanks to everyone who has purchased a bottle.

If you would like to buy a bottle of 50 Million Gin you can do that here and learn more about Paul and his project here.
